Revised note (June 19, 2017)

The Rafu Shimpo, in spite of their promise to me not to run a revised version of the column written by P.S. which was still problematic, published the print version on June 15th. It is unclear at this point whether the Rafu Shimpo intentionally broke their promise to me or if it was an accident, but the damage has been serious. Again I wish to strongly emphasise that, as the columnist admits, the opinions expressed in his article are solely his own not mine, nor should inferences relating to me in the column be necessarily construed as accurate or correct. I am currently considering my options to deal with this regrettable situation.

『羅府新報』掲載記事についておことわり

『羅府新報』社は、P.S.氏の署名コラムに関し、修正版にもなお問題が多いことから掲載を保留にすると約束したにもかかわらず、６月１５日発行の紙媒体に掲載しました。掲載が意図的か偶発的な理由によるものか定かではありませんが、その影響は深刻です。 いま一度強調しますが、当該記事の執筆者も認めているとおり、記事の内容に関する責任はすべて筆者にあり、けっして私の立場や意見を反映するものではありません。また私との関連があるかのように記述されている箇所についても正確あるいは適切に記述されているわけではありません。このような深刻な状況にどのように対処するかについて、現在検討中であることを申し添えておきます。
