The Rafu Shimpo and the columnist extended to me their apology.

A column contributed by P.S. appeared in the June 8th print edition of the Rafu Shimpo, a LA-based Japanese American community newspaper. The column contains ideas mis-attributed to me along with inaccurate facts, using my name. It also contains a photo taken by me published without my permission. I strongly protested the column, and both the Rafu Shimpo and the columnist extended to me their apology. The opinions expressed are solely those of the columnist who takes full responsibility as he clarifies in the forthcoming column. They do not by any means represent my opinions nor my position.

ロサンゼルス発行の日系新聞『羅府新報』6月8日版のコラムに、私の名前と私が個人的に撮影した写真が無断で使用され、間違った事実とともに掲載されました。これに対して強く抗議したところ、『羅府新報』とコラムニストから正式に謝罪を受けました。当該記事は、コラムニストが明確に述べているように、あくまでもコラムニスト個人の見解であり、竹沢の意見や立場をけっして反映するものではありません。
